Rental Guidelines for RE/MAX Advantage
Interested in a RE/MAX Advantage rental property? Before we show our properties, our owners endorse the following rental guidelines.
Household income must be 3 times rent
all income must be supported by last 2 paychecks (w-2 employees)
2 months bank stubs and last tax return for self employed
any other means (pension, annuity, voucher, etc)
Credit scores of 620 or higher are required
620 or higher is 1x deposit if income and landlord references are positive
619 or below is owner decision and subject to increased deposit

Other Requirements & Steps
Landlord references are required to be approved
**We do not currently manage any properties accepting section 8 housing vouchers
Criminal backgrounds are performed on every applicant - arrests are not factored. Convictions of violent crimes play a role in decision making
We only process complete applications - app fee, complete application for every person over 18 in the house, proof of income, present landlord contact.
We hold properties for a maximum of 2 weeks before lease begins. If you are more than 2 1/2 weeks out, don't view the property.
If your application is approved, the complete deposit is required in the office within 24 hours in certified funds.
